Thanks for following us!

We left the Los Angeles area on our sailboat, Toga, a 41′ Sceptre, June 3rd, 2014, to travel up the west coast.  Our destination is the San Juan Islands and beyond.

About us: Ralph is a retired aeronautical engineer.  Tricia is a civil engineer on a break from her career.  We’ve been married for almost 22 years.  Ralph has two older sons and we have two college aged children together.

Our plan is to cruise the San Juan islands until the weather turns cold, and then find a place to dock the boat for the winter while we return home.  We plan to come back in April and resume our exploration.
